A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Fair on Friday 5 June. It was fantastic to see so many families, friends and members of the local community come together for a brilliant afternoon of fun and fundraising.
As always, our PTA stalls were busy throughout the event, with favourites including the tombola, raffle (full results below), bag-a-bottle, home baking, hot dogs, drinks and ice cream helping to raise vital funds for the PTA, which ultimately ends up back in the school. Alongside these, classes across the school hosted their own creative stalls to raise money for class activities and projects — including toasties, popcorn and even the chance to custard pie a pupil!
We were also delighted to welcome a range of external craft stalls to the fair. Special thanks go to those stallholders who generously donated prizes for our raffle, as well as to all the P1–P7 year groups for the wonderful rainbow hampers they created and donated.

Visitors were entertained throughout the afternoon by the talented performers taking part in Gorebridge’s Got Talent, which added a fantastic atmosphere to the event.
We are thrilled to share that the fair raised over £1,300 for PTA funds. Every penny goes directly towards enhancing experiences for pupils across the school. So far this year, the PTA has provided more than £5,000 in funding for projects and activities including revamping the Library space, supporting a visiting pantomime production, paying for P7 yearbooks, and providing Christmas gifts for Nursery and P1 pupils. We have also organised the Autumn and Spring discos, the Christmas and Summer Fairs, and of course the all-important visit from Santa in December.
Thank you once again to everyone who donated, volunteered, attended or supported the event in any way — we couldn’t do it without you! We’re always looking for more helpers – find out how to volunteer as an occasional helper, or contact us if you’d like to discuss being a full member of the PTA.
Raffle Results
Congratulations to the following winners of the raffle! Here’s a list of winning numbers, the name of the winner (as best as we can tell from the handwriting on some of the stubs!) and the prize. They are presented in the reverse order than they were pulled.
If you don’t have your prize already, it can be claimed from the School Office.
A big thank you to everyone who donated prizes and who entered the raffle!
