PTA

What does the PTA do?

The PTA is often considered the “fun” bit of getting involved with the school!

The PTA at Gorebridge Primary School plays a vital role in fostering a strong sense of community among parents, teachers, and students. By organizing various events such as fairs, bake sales, and social gatherings, the PTA helps create opportunities for families to connect and engage with the school, building a supportive and inclusive environment.

In addition to community-building activities, the PTA is heavily involved in fundraising efforts to support the school. Funds raised by the PTA are used to provide additional resources, such as new equipment, books, and technology, and to support school trips and extracurricular activities that enhance students’ learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Furthermore, the PTA works closely with school staff to understand the specific needs of the school and determine how best to allocate resources. Through collaboration with teachers and administrators, the PTA ensures that their efforts directly benefit the students and align with the school’s educational goals, ultimately contributing to a richer, more vibrant school experience for all.
