This meeting is open to any member of the Parent Forum (that’s all parents and carers of children at Gorebridge) and is an opportunity to get the latest news on school policies, attainment and achievement as well as find out more about the Parent Council in general.
Note that this is separate to the more-regular PTA meetings, which tend to discuss more day-to-day tasks and activities such as school fairs and discos.

At Gorebridge Primary School, the Parent Council aims to represent parents' views in school decision-making, support policy development, and improve communication between parents and the school. The PTA focuses on building a strong community by organising fundraising events to provide additional resources and support extracurricular activities for students.
